Teacher gifts in Arabic calligraphy, made to order in our workshop in 5–7 working days. The lines a teacher keeps are about knowledge: «وقل رب زدني علما» (and say: my Lord, increase me in knowledge, Taha 20:114), «العلم نور» (knowledge is light), «خير جليس في الزمان كتاب» (the best companion of all time is a book, al-Mutanabbi) and «من جدّ وجد» (who strives, finds). Printed and framed by hand. Prices are shown on each piece.
For the desk. For the classroom wall, the Arabic alphabet poster sets the 28 letters in Naskh, the schoolbook hand. Two Persian lines are here for teachers of Persian: «توانا بود هر که دانا بود» (Ferdowsi: the one who knows is the one who is able) and «ز گهواره تا گور دانش بجوی» (seek knowledge from the cradle to the grave).
World Teachers' Day falls on 5 October and the school year ends in June and July: order about two weeks ahead. The calligraphy about knowledge, for a study as much as a classroom, is gathered in Arabic calligraphy about knowledge, and gifts for the students are in graduation gifts.
